The Division of Trauma/Critical Care at the University of Vermont

on basic research in colorectal cancer. The faculty member will

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's Department of Surgery has
begun the search for a new Chief of the Gastric and Mixed Tumor
Service and as part of our effort to increase the diversity of our
faculty at MSKCC, they are identifying female and minority candidates

Candidates should be widely known as outstanding surgeons in
treating gastric cancer, sarcoma, melanoma, or endocrine tumors and
should be regarded as effective leaders by their peers and trainees. A
track record of successful mentoring is essential. Individuals should

The Chief will have academic, clinical, research, and administrative
responsibilities. He/she will provide surgical leadership for the

Upstate Medical University at Syracuse is seeking candidates for

expanding 400-bed tertiary care facility and Level – 1 Trauma Center

The Division of Trauma, Acute Care Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
consists of four trained surgeons who are board certified in surgery
and surgical critical care. The division of Trauma and Acute Care
Surgery is a very dynamic and energetic component of the Department of
surgery at Upstate Medical University. It captures an area of 28
counties from the northern border of New York City to the Canadian
border with an average of 1800 annual admissions and a substantial
volume of operative trauma.
The division also covers acute care surgery with participation of
other general surgery faculty. Faculty members are strongly involved
in resident education, research, regional and international outreach

1. Participating as teaching faculty in the busy trauma service for
one week at a time
2. Participate in home based trauma and general surgery call with
other faculty

5. Emergency General Surgery practice while covering the acute care
surgery service.
